Man held for selling iguana with fake wildlife certificate

Forest officials arrested 32-year-old Binoy for allegedly trying to sell a Green Iguana using a forged registration certificate in the Chief Wildlife Warden's name. Officials raided his pet shop near Thirumala in Trivandrum and rescued the protected animal. Investigators suspect a Bengaluru-based gang is behind the fake certificate racket and are probing others involved in the network.
