Excise officials arrested Muhammad Shamim, 38, from Kozhikode, with 52 grams of MDMA allegedly smuggled from Tamil Nadu into Kerala. He reportedly got off a bus at Chenkavila to avoid vehicle checks and was waiting for a friend to pick him up on a bike. Officials are investigating to identify others involved.
