Man joins Bihar & J'khand Police under different names, SC orders action

The Supreme Court has ordered criminal action against a police constable who allegedly joined Bihar Police and Jharkhand Police under different names. Ranjan Kumar, a constable in Jharkhand Police, took a two-day leave in 2007 and joined Bihar Police under the name 'Santosh Kumar' by using forged certificates. An enquiry later found that Ranjan and Santosh were the same person.
