Man loses ₹50 lakh after he gets missed calls, blank calls in Jamtara-like fraud

A director at a Delhi-based security firm lost ₹50 lakh to fraudsters who diverted the money from his account to multiple accounts, in several transactions, with just missed calls and blank calls on his cellphone. They did not ask for any OTP from the victim. According to TOI, probe suggests masterminds of this fraud might be based in Jharkhand's Jamtara.
