Man makes deepest dive of 10.92km in Pacific Ocean, finds waste
Retired US naval officer Victor Vescovo has found plastic waste on the Pacific Ocean floor after he broke the record of deepest-ever dive made by a human inside a submarine. Vescovo descended nearly 10.927 km in the ocean's Mariana Trench, which is the deepest place on Earth. His dive went 16 metre lower than the previous deepest descent in 1960.
