Man must pay child maintenance even if unemployed: Bombay HC

Bombay High Court's Nagpur bench directed a father to pay monthly maintenance to his son and daughter, observing that a man can't evade his legal responsibility towards his children by claiming unemployment. Man had challenged a lower court order directing him to pay ₹4,000 monthly to his kids. He claimed he had sold his auto-rickshaw, his sole source of income.
