Canadian software developer Peter Todd has gone into hiding after an HBO documentary claimed he is likely Satoshi Nakamoto, the anonymous creator of Bitcoin. Todd, who had denied the claim, said he had received emails from people asking for money since the film aired. "Falsely claiming that ordinary people...are extraordinarily rich exposes them to threats like robbery," Todd said.
