Man part of clinical trial found dead in B'luru, his family blames Indian R&D firm

A 33-year-old man named Nagesh Veeranna was found dead at his brother Revanasiddappa's residence in Bengaluru. Revanasiddappa said Veeranna died of side effects of under-trial medicines administered by Indian R&D firm Syngene, claiming he didn't have health issues before the trial. He added that Syngene asked him to rush to a hospital in December as Veeranna was admitted to ICU.
