Man rapes daughter after giving sleeping pills; stepmom ignores complaint

A 40-year-old man in Bengaluru allegedly raped his 19-year-old daughter after giving her sleeping pills instead of medicines for cough and cold. The girl consumed toilet-cleaning chemical allegedly after her stepmother ignored her complaint about the rape. After consuming the chemical, she went to a police station and informed them about the crime, following which she was rushed to hospital.
