Man resigns from ₹6 cr job in Singapore as wife asks for ₹15 lakh monthly maintenance

A Canadian man quit a ₹6-crore job in Singapore and moved back to his home country after his estranged wife sought ₹15 lakh monthly maintenance. He has now been ordered by Singapore family court to pay nearly S$634,000 (over ₹4 crore) in backdated support for his wife and children. Court ruled his resignation didn't absolve him of his financial responsibilities.
