Man smuggling gold worth ₹7 lakh held at Mumbai airport

A Mangalore-bound passenger was arrested at the Mumbai airport for allegedly trying to smuggle gold biscuits worth around ₹7 lakh, the CISF has said. The incident took place after CISF personnel detected a metal-like object in his wallet during the security check. CISF added, "He could not furnish valid documents for carrying the yellow metal."
