Man tries to strangle wife, stabs her at Maharashtra station; bystanders save her

A man tried to strangle his estranged wife using her dupatta and also attacked her with a knife at the Virar railway station in Maharashtra on Wednesday morning, officials said. The woman got cuts on her fingers, neck and near her eyes before bystanders and RPF personnel helped save her. The accused, identified as Shiva Bhim Sharma, was arrested.
