Man trying to climb world's 2nd highest peak falls to death

A 53-year-old Canadian national fell to death while attempting to scale the world's second highest peak, 8,611-metre K2, on Saturday. Serge Dessureault was between camps 2 and 3 of the mountain when the accident happened. As many as 306 people have reportedly made it to the top of the peak, which was first summited in 1954.
