Man who called his wife 'second hand' ordered to pay ₹3 crore to her by Bombay HC

Bombay High Court has upheld a trial court's order directing a man to pay ₹3-crore compensation to his ex-wife for acts of domestic violence and calling her "second hand" as her engagement with another person was called off. "Although the abuse will necessarily result in mental torture and emotional distress...the gravity will differ from person to person," the court said.
