OpenAI Co-founder Andrej Karpathy, known for coining the term 'vibe coding', said programming through LLM agents has reached a new level called "agentic engineering". "'Agentic' because the new default is that you are not writing the code...[but] orchestrating agents who do," he said. "'Engineering' [is] to emphasise that there is an art & science and expertise to it," he added.
