Man who confronted Sydney mall attacker offered permanent Australian residency

Damien Guerot, a Frenchman who confronted knife-wielding Sydney mall attacker with a bollard has been offered permanent residency by Australian authorities, his lawyer said. On Tuesday, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese thanked Damien for his display of extraordinary bravery.
