Man who drove his van into crowd at LGBTQ event shot dead by police in Berlin
A man suspected of driving a minivan into a crowd near Berlin’s Pride festival that killed at least one person and injured 29 others was shot dead by police after a 24-hour manhunt. The suspect, 21-year-old Abdul Ballout, had previously sought to join Islamic State, AP reported. Police said he "ran towards them with...bladed weapon", prompting officers to open fire.
