Man who lynched 2 Israeli soldiers in 2000 killed in Gaza strike
A man who had lynched two Israeli soldiers in West Bank's Ramallah in 2000 has been killed in an airstrike in Gaza. The man, Aziz Salha, became infamous for waving his bloodied hands from a window, an image that became symbolic of the second intifada, Palestinian uprising against Israel. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) identified Salha as a Hamas militant.
