Man who went missing last year was researching on ways to be 'in 2 places at once'

A 78-year-old man named Anthony Chavez, who was working with a quantum physicist at Los Alamos National Laboratory, has remained missing since May 2025. Chavez's friend told police that he was assisting in research to be "in two places at once". Notably, police found his newly bought car, wallet, cigarettes and handwritten journal at his locked home after he vanished.
