Man wins ₹17,000 over dent on his bag after Air India flight, airline had offered ₹500

A 28-year-old man won ₹17,000 in compensation as a consumer commission found Air India negligent for returning his bag with a significant dent after a 2024 Delhi-Bengaluru flight. Air India staff also allegedly refused to file his complaint or issue a Property Irregularity Report, asking him to raise the issue via email. The airline had earlier offered ₹500 as compensation.
