Manasi Parekh wants Gujarati cinema to create new stars

Actor-producer Manasi Parekh, co-producer of Gujarati film Mitrata, says regional cinema must stop relying on the same 3-4 male stars and develop new talent. She aims to make Gujarati cinema global, having distributed film Lalo in 41 countries and announced three international projects at Cannes 2025.
