Manchester United become richest football club in the world

English Premier League side Manchester United became the world's richest football club, with a record revenue of over ₹4,300 crore for the 2015-16 season. Spanish club Real Madrid, who topped the Deloitte Football Money League for the last 11 seasons, earned approximately ₹3,900 crore and were placed third behind rivals Barcelona.
