Despite awareness efforts, child marriages rise in K'taka's Mandya

The persistent issue of child marriage continues to haunt Mandya district, with 28 cases reported between April 25 and May 25 alone. Authorities managed to prevent 25 of these, FIRs were filed in the remaining three cases. Despite continuous awareness drives and community outreach, the trend remains worrying.
