Mangala swimming pool to reopen soon after repairs

Mangaluru's Mangala Swimming Pool, the only facility under the Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC), is set to reopen within two weeks after being closed for nearly five months for repairs. The pool was shut in August to address leakages caused by tree roots penetrating the peripheral chambers. The pool, built in 1987, includes nearly nine peripheral chambers.
