Mangaluru man ends life in Oman after girlfriend ignores calls

Puneeth Poojary, a 32-year-old man from Someshwar in Karnataka's Mangaluru, died by suicide while working in Oman. He had been employed at a lift company for one-and-a-half years and had recently visited home. He was allegedly upset after his girlfriend stopped responding to his calls, and returned to Oman. The tragic news has left his parents in India devastated.
