Manipal professor who called Muslim student 'terrorist' barred, college issues statement

A professor of Manipal University in Karnataka has been debarred pending an inquiry into a viral video of a student confronting him for allegedly calling him a "terrorist". The college made the announcement in a statement it issued on the video saying it does not condone the teacher's behaviour. It said the incident was an "isolated one".
