Three people died after armed assailants attacked the residence of a village chief in Kalenjang, Senapati district, Manipur on Saturday. Two died on the spot; a third succumbed at hospital. Deputy CM Lossi Dikho condemned the attack, allegedly by Kuki militants, calling it a 'grave assault' on the right to life.
