Manipur CM praises Assam CM's action against poppy farming, drugs

Manipur CM N Biren Singh praised his Assam counterpart Himanta Biswa Sarma for taking action against illegal poppy cultivation in state. Taking to X, Singh said, "We stand together and remain resolute in our shared goal of building future where every youth of NE is protected." Around 56 acres of poppy farming worth over ₹27 crore were destroyed in Assam.
