Manipur protests escalate after death of two children in Bishnupur

Fresh protests erupted across Manipur’s Valley after the killing of two children in a bomb attack on April 7 in Bishnupur. 18 people were injured, and protesters demanded the arrest of those who killed the two children, a five-year-old boy and a six-month-old baby girl. The terror attack had ignited anger and grief and led to a faceoff between protesters and the CRPF.
