Manipur to get new AIIMS, announces PM Modi in virtual address

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced construction of a new AIIMS in Manipur. "We are planning to build an AIIMS in Manipur. This is the time of Atmanirbhar Bharat," said Modi addressing a virtual rally ahead of the second phase of assembly polls in the state. It would be the 24th AIIMS to come up in the country.
