Manipuri film to be made on life of Tokyo Olympics silver medallist Mirabai Chanu

A Manipuri film based on the life of Tokyo Olympics silver medallist weightlifter Saikhom Mirabai Chanu will be produced. An agreement in this regard was signed on Saturday between Chanu's family and Imphal-based Seuti Films Production at her residence in Nongpok Kakching. It will take around six months to start shooting for the film, the production house said.
