Mantena backed out of 'Ramayan' due to monetary concerns: Reports

Film producer Madhu Mantena has reportedly backed out of Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming directorial 'Ramayan', which will feature Ranbir Kapoor, due to monetary concerns, according to reports. "Mantena is not financially compatible right now to take on such a huge project," a source was quoted as saying. Reportedly, the pace of production has slowed down after Mantena's exit.
