Many were asleep when fire broke out at Delhi hotel, death toll expected to rise

When a fire broke out in a hotel in Delhi's Malviya Nagar, many tourists were sleeping inside, police sources told the Indian Express. The sources said that the death toll, which stood at 21 till Wednesday afternoon, is expected to rise. DCP South Anant Mittal said information about fire at Flourish Stay B&B was received at 8:48 am.
