Marathi actress Hemlata Patkar arrested in ₹10-cr extortion case

Mumbai Police arrested two women, Amarina Iqbal Zaveri and actress Hemlata Patkar, for demanding a ransom of ₹10 crore from Goregaon-based builder Arvind Goyal. The women were caught red-handed while accepting ₹1.5 crore, first instalment of alleged ₹10 crore extortion demand. Goyal alleged that the accused demanded massive amount to "settle" criminal case against his son at Amboli police station.
