Marathi preacher says 'Have sex on even dates for son', gets criticised

Marathi preacher Indurikar Maharaj was criticised after he purportedly said in a video that having intercourse on even date begets a male child. "If intercourse is done on inauspicious timing, the child...would bring bad name to...family," he also said. A government official said his remarks can attract action under provisions of Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PCPNDT) Act.
