Marathon hosted in Naxal-Hit Bastar; Over 10,000 participate

The Naxal-hit Bastar region flagged off the 'Bastar Heritage Marathon 2026' from Lal Bagh ground in Chhattisgarh's Jagdalpur on Sunday. Over 10,000 participants, including former Maoists, joined from across the country. The marathon featured 42 km, 21 km, 10 km, and 5 km categories, with a total prize purse of ₹25 lakh and special awards for Bastar participants.
