MARD welcomes arrest, keeps Maharashtra doctors protest on

Maharashtra State Association of Resident Doctors (MARD) welcomed the arrest of Shiv Sena corporator Ramesh Mhatre, accused of assaulting doctors at a Thane hospital. The group said its planned Black Ribbon protest will continue across government hospitals and medical colleges, demanding safety for healthcare workers and action against rising violence in the medical field.
