Mardaani 2 inspired by true crime-related incidents: Director Gopi Puthran

Gopi Puthran, director of Rani Mukerji starrer 'Mardaani 2', has said the film is inspired by true crime-related incidents. "The horrific nature of crimes...you read about in papers, do shock you and stay with you. My film is inspired by...such incidents that happened across the country," he stated. Gopi further said 'Mardaani 2' focuses on crimes committed by juveniles.
