Mark Zuckerberg announces 11th Facebook data centre facility

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Thursday announced that the social media giant is building its 11th data centre facility in Henrico, Virginia. Zuckerberg said the facility will be powered by 100% clean and renewable energy, and will create thousands of jobs over the next few years. Facebook is investing $750 million in the 970,000-square-foot data centre.
