Marriage under Muslim law cannot give immunity for sex with minor wife: Delhi HC

Delhi HC refused to quash a POCSO case against a man who married a 16-year-old girl, holding that a marriage claimed valid under Muslim personal law cannot shield an adult from prosecution for having sexual intercourse with a wife below 18. Court said statutory age of 18 under POCSO and BNS cannot be replaced by puberty under personal law.
