Mars recalls Galaxy chocolate, others over fear of bacteria

Confectionery giant Mars has confirmed it is recalling some popular chocolate products across UK and Ireland, due to potential presence of the bacteria salmonella. The company said that the precautionary recall affects some of its Galaxy chocolate bars, Minstrels products, and Maltesers Teasers. The recall is Mars’ second in months after it withdrew products in 55 countries earlier this year.
