Maruti, Toyota say E20 petrol safe for old and new cars

Maruti Suzuki and Toyota have reassured consumers that E20 petrol is safe for both older and newer vehicles, citing extensive testing and data from millions of serviced vehicles. Industry experts say the fuel does not cause corrosion, excessive wear, or engine damage, though it may reduce mileage by around 3% to 3.5% in older vehicles.
