Maruti aims to produce 40 lakh vehicles per year by 2027

Suzuki Motor has asked Indian suppliers to move towards a six-day production schedule, with one full day reserved for machine maintenance. Suppliers are also expected to provide daily downtime for equipment. The move comes as Maruti Suzuki targets annual production of 4 million vehicles by 2030, up from around 2.4 million currently, while preparing for new models and higher exports.
