Maruti Suzuki appoints Hisashi Takeuchi as MD and CEO for next 3 years

Japanese automaker Maruti Suzuki has appointed Hisashi Takeuchi as the company's MD and CEO till March 31, 2025. Kenichi Ayukawa, the MD since 2013, will be the whole-time Director for the next six months to help in the transition. Takeuchi joined the Suzuki Motor Corporation in 1986 and has been Joint MD at Maruti Suzuki India since April 2021.
