Maruti Suzuki cuts production for three consecutive months

India's largest passenger vehicle maker Maruti Suzuki has said it has slashed its production by around 10% in April. This will be the third consecutive month when the company reduced production as sales continued to remain subdued since September 2018. The automaker reported a 19.6% year-on-year decline in domestic passenger vehicles sales at 1.3 lakh units in April.
