Maruti Suzuki India receives tax order worth nearly ₹5,800 crore

Maruti Suzuki India received a draft assessment order worth nearly ₹5,800 crore from the Income Tax authorities. The notice, pertaining to fiscal year 2022-2023, is linked to certain additions or disallowances concerning returned income. The company said it will file objections before the Dispute Resolution Panel, adding that the order does not impact financial, operational or other activities.
