Maruti will launch 5 new hybrid cars with 35 Kmpl+ mileage

Maruti Suzuki is developing new HEV range extender hybrid technology using in-house petrol engines to charge batteries supplying energy to drive electric motors. Launching across 5 Heartect models between 2025-2027 starting with Fronx facelift, it eyes mass electrification at lower investment than Toyota-sourced strong hybrids in Grand Vitara, Urban Cruiser HyRyder.
