Mary Kom's ex-husband sues her for criminal defamation

Olympian Mary Kom's ex-husband Onler Kom has filed a criminal defamation case against the boxer, accusing her of making damaging remarks about him on television and other platforms. Onler confirmed the legal action, saying, "I have a strong case...I have faith in...judicial system of India." If convicted, the provision carries punishment of up to two years' imprisonment, fine, or both.
