Mary Poppins actor Glynis Johns dies aged 100

Mary Poppins actor Glynis Johns has died aged 100 in Los Angeles on Thursday, her manager confirmed. Johns, who made her film debut in 1938, starred opposite Julie Andrews in 1964 Disney musical Mary Poppins, which won five Oscars. She won a Tony Award in 1973 for playing Desiree Armfeldt in Stephen Sondheim's Broadway musical A Little Night Music.
