Maserati confirms electric car that can do 0-100 kmph in 2s

Italian luxury vehicle manufacturer Maserati has announced plans to launch the Alfieri electric sports car which can go from 0-100 kmph in under 2 seconds. The car, which will offer 300 kmph top speed, will feature a transmission supplied by Ferrari and a coupe or open-top version. The Alfieri was first unveiled four years ago as a concept car.
